Lenovo is significantly enhancing its artificial intelligence capabilities through a strategic partnership with Nvidia and the integration of its new Qira platform. These moves are designed to accelerate AI adoption across personal, enterprise, and public AI platforms, solidifying Lenovo's position in the rapidly evolving AI market.
A key component of this expansion is the Lenovo AI Cloud Gigafactory with Nvidia, unveiled at CES 2026. This program aims to provide AI cloud providers with the infrastructure needed to quickly deploy and scale AI solutions. By focusing on "time to first token" – the speed at which an AI system delivers its first usable output – the Gigafactory prioritizes rapid return on investment and faster deployment of production-ready AI services. The Gigafactory utilizes Lenovo's hybrid AI infrastructure and Nvidia's accelerated computing platforms. This combination, along with Lenovo's Neptune liquid cooling technology, enables the creation of advanced AI environments that can be deployed in record time. Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of Nvidia, emphasized that AI factories are becoming core national and industrial assets.
In addition to the Nvidia partnership, Lenovo is introducing Qira, a personal AI super-agent designed to provide a seamless and unified experience across multiple devices. Qira, which stands for "personal ambient intelligence," functions as a system-level AI assistant that bridges the gap between different personal devices and across Windows and Android ecosystems. Qira leverages Lenovo's existing ecosystem, merging the capabilities of Moto AI, Lenovo AI Now, and the Lenovo Creator Zone into a single, continuous intelligence. This allows users to move effortlessly between PCs, tablets, and phones while keeping information and tasks connected. Qira is designed to learn user habits and anticipate needs, offering proactive and contextual suggestions based on the user's current activity. It can also automate workflows and coordinate actions across apps and devices.
Lenovo is also focused on AI inferencing, where AI models are put to work to answer questions and make decisions. The company has introduced new enterprise-level servers designed specifically for AI inference tasks, as part of Lenovo's Hybrid AI Advantage lineup. These servers, including the ThinkSystem SR675i, SR650i and ThinkEdge SE455i, are designed to execute AI workloads across cloud, data center, and edge environments. Lenovo's AI solutions also extend to specific industries, with validated solutions for hospitality, workplace safety, and retail analytics.
These strategic initiatives reflect Lenovo's commitment to "Smarter AI for All," focusing on practical innovation and reliable performance. By combining powerful infrastructure solutions with user-centric AI platforms, Lenovo aims to empower businesses and individuals to leverage the full potential of artificial intelligence.
