OnePlus has officially released its newest flagship phone, the OnePlus 15, making its debut in India on November 13, 2025, and followed by a global launch. While US sales are postponed due to government certification delays, early bird discounts are available in other regions like the UK. The OnePlus 15 aims to compete with other major smartphone brands during the busy holiday season.
Design and Display
The OnePlus 15 features a refined design, maintaining a relatively slim profile despite housing a large battery. It measures 161.4 x 76.7 x 8.1 mm (Infinite Black/Ultra Violet) or 8.1 mm (Sand Storm). The weight is 215g (Infinite Black/Ultra Violet) and 211g (Sand Storm). The device sports a 6.78-inch QHD+ (2772x1272 pixels) AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,800 nits. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The screen supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and can reproduce 1.07 billion colors, delivering richer contrast and vibrant tones. The bezels are remarkably thin, measuring only 1.15mm.
Performance and Software
The OnePlus 15 is among the first phones to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. It offers two configurations: 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM with 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage, or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM with 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The phone runs on OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. The device includes features like AI Smart Link for optimized connectivity and a Private Computing Cloud for enhanced data security. The OxygenOS 16 experience feels clean and responsive, with smooth app switching and fluid animations. However, the phone can get warm under heavy tasks.
Battery and Charging
One of the biggest strengths of the OnePlus 15 is its large 7,300mAh battery. The phone supports 120W SuperVOOC charging and 50W wireless charging. Reviewers have noted exceptional battery life, with some experiencing over 15 hours of continuous use or even 2-3 days of lighter usage. The 120W fast charger can fully charge the phone in approximately 41 minutes. The device also supports bypass charging, allowing users to power the phone directly from the outlet while gaming.
Camera
The OnePlus 15 features a triple 50MP rear camera setup, including a Sony IMX906 main sensor, an OV50D ultra-wide sensor, and a telephoto lens. The telephoto lens offers 3.5x optical zoom and 7x optical quality zoom. While the camera system is capable, some reviews suggest that the photography performance lags behind competitors. There are reports of inconsistent color balance between the different lenses. Some reviewers have noted that the new DetailMax image engine doesn't provide a significant improvement over previous OnePlus models. The front camera features a 32MP Sony IMX709 sensor.
Pricing and Availability
The OnePlus 15 is available in multiple colors, including Infinite Black, Sand Storm, and Ultra Violet. Pricing starts at ₹72,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant in India. The 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant is priced at ₹75,999. In the US, the base model is priced at $900, while the higher-end model costs $1,000.
