Elon Musk has officially announced the launch of his newest venture, Macrohard, an AI-driven company poised to directly challenge Microsoft's dominance in the software industry. The announcement, made via a post on X (formerly Twitter), stated, "It's a tongue-in-cheek name, but the project is very real!". Musk, also the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, believes that Macrohard, tied to his AI startup xAI, can leverage artificial intelligence to simulate and potentially surpass software companies like Microsoft, which do not manufacture physical hardware.
Musk's vision for Macrohard involves creating a "purely AI software company". He envisions a future where AI can replicate and produce high-quality software, rivaling Microsoft's Office programs.
