OpenAI is demonstrating its commitment to the UK by expanding its London office, which opened in 2023 and currently houses over 100 staff. The expansion will include growing research and engineering teams that contribute to the development of OpenAI's advanced AI models. The UK government views AI as a critical tool for national transformation, with the potential to improve the National Health Service (NHS), reduce barriers to opportunity, and drive economic growth.
