Motorola Razr 60 Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Elite Debuts in India Priced at Rs 99,999

Motorola has officially launched the Razr 60 Ultra in India, marking its entry into the 2025 foldable smartphone market. This new flip phone succeeds last year's Razr 50 Ultra and is the first foldable device launched this year, with other brands like Samsung and Google expected to follow suit. The Razr 60 Ultra is available for ₹89,999 and will be available for purchase on Amazon, Reliance Digital, Motorola's website, and retail stores starting May 21, 2025.

The Razr 60 Ultra boasts a 4-inch cover LTPO flexible pOLED display with a 165 Hz refresh rate and 3,000 nits of peak brightness, protected by Corning Gorilla Ceramic. The main display is a 6.96-inch LTPO AMOLED screen, also with a 165 Hz refresh rate but with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and Dolby Vision support. The phone has an IP48 rating for dust and water resistance and weighs 199 grams.

Under the hood, the Razr 60 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and comes with 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It runs on Android 15 and is slated to receive 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates.

For photography, the Razr 60 Ultra features a 50 MP main camera with OIS, a 50 MP ultrawide lens that also functions as a macro lens, and a 50 MP selfie camera. The device also integrates Moto.ai, offering generative AI capabilities.

The phone is equipped with a 4,700 mAh battery and includes a 68 W charger, along with support for 30 W wireless charging and 5 W reverse charging. The Razr 60 Ultra comes in Pantone-certified shades: Scarab, Mountain Trail, and Rio Red.

In July 2024, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra was launched in India, featuring a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage, with a 6.9-inch full-HD+ LTPO pOLED inner display with a 165Hz refresh rate and a 4-inch cover display, also with a 165Hz refresh rate. It also featured a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra was originally priced at Rs. 99,999 in India. However, as of January 2025, it was available at a discounted price of Rs. 69,999 through Reliance Digital stores.
