Samsung has launched its slimmest F-series smartphone, the Galaxy F56 5G, in India. The device aims to offer a blend of sleek design and next-generation connectivity, targeting young consumers.

Design and Display:

The Galaxy F56 5G is remarkably slim, measuring just 7.2mm in thickness. It features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and vibrant visuals. The display also boasts 1200 nits of peak brightness and Vision Booster technology, enhancing outdoor visibility. For durability, the phone incorporates Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both the front and back. The device has a flat frame and a metal camera deco, and is available in Green and Violet color options. The phone weighs 180g.

Performance and Software:

Under the hood, the Galaxy F56 5G is powered by the Exynos 1480 processor paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM. It comes in two storage configurations: 128GB and 256GB. A vapor cooling chamber is included for efficient heat dissipation during demanding tasks like gaming. The phone supports 5G connectivity.

The Galaxy F56 5G runs on One UI 7 based on Android 15. Samsung is promising six years of Android upgrades and six years of security updates for the device. It also has Samsung Knox Vault for enhanced security and Samsung Wallet with Tap and Pay functionality.

The cameras are designed for vivid photos and videos, even in low light, thanks to its Big Pixel Technology, Low Noise Mode and AI ISP. It also features Portrait 2.0 with 2X zoom on the rear camera which enables crisp and natural bokeh effect.

Battery:

The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.

Pricing and Availability:

The Samsung Galaxy F56 5G is priced at Rs. 25,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and Rs. 28,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model. These are introductory prices that include a bank discount of Rs. 2,000. It is available in Green and Violet colors. Easy EMI options start at Rs. 1,556 per month through Samsung Finance+ and leading NBFC partners.

The Galaxy F series is exclusive to India, Bangladesh and China. In India, the series consists of rebranded Galaxy M models sold exclusively for the Indian market through Flipkart.
