LG Smart TV owners can now directly access Xbox Cloud Gaming through the Xbox app, marking a significant step in console-free gaming. This feature is available on select LG Smart TV models, including 2022 OLED TVs, some 2023 LG Smart TVs, and newer models running webOS 24 or later.

To get started, users can find the Xbox app in the LG Gaming Portal, accessible via the Gaming Q-Card on the TV's home page. After downloading and launching the app, users sign into their Microsoft account, connect a compatible Bluetooth controller like the Xbox Wireless Controller, DualSense, or DualShock 4, and begin playing.

An Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership is required to stream games, granting access to a library featuring titles from Activision, Bethesda, Blizzard, Mojang, and Xbox Game Studios. Games like "Call of Duty: Black Ops 6," "Avowed," and "Towerborne" are available, along with select titles users already own, such as "NBA 2K25" and "Hogwarts Legacy."

LG's partnership with Xbox enhances the gaming experience, leveraging OLED and QNED TVs for 4K upscaled visuals and a user-friendly interface. This offers a vast library of games through cloud gaming. A high-speed internet connection, preferably wired or 5GHz Wi-Fi with 20Mbps or higher, is needed for optimal performance.
