The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro has officially launched in China on April 24, 2025, making waves as the first smartphone powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. This new device from Xiaomi aims to deliver a blend of performance and durability, targeting the mid-range market with impressive specifications and features.

One of the most remarkable aspects of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is its processing power. It is equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, which promises a significant upgrade in CPU and GPU performance compared to its predecessor. The phone also boasts a sophisticated cooling system, featuring a 6000mm² dual-loop 3D ice cooling setup paired with Xiaomi's Rage Engine 4.0, ensuring sustained performance during demanding tasks like gaming and video editing. Benchmark scores reveal the device exceeding 2 million points on the AnTuTu benchmark, with Geekbench scores surpassing 2100 for single-core and 6800 for multi-core performance.

The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro features a large 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, providing smooth visuals and vibrant colors. The display also boasts up to 3,200 nits of peak brightness, HDR10+ support, and Dolby Vision, ensuring an immersive viewing experience. To protect the screen, it comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

In terms of photography, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro sports a dual-camera setup on the rear, featuring a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization), along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies and video calls, it houses a 20MP front camera.

A standout feature of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is its massive 7,550mAh silicon-carbon battery, the largest ever included in a Redmi phone. It supports 90W fast charging, allowing users to quickly replenish the battery, as well as 22.5W reverse wired charging, turning the phone into a power bank for other devices.

The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro runs on Android 15-based HyperOS 2, Xiaomi's custom operating system. It also features IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications for dust and water resistance.

The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is available in black, white, and green colors. Xiaomi has also partnered with Warner Bros. to release a special Harry Potter Edition, featuring a customized design and themed interface.

In China, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro starts at CNY 2,199 (approximately $301 or Rs. 25,760) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. Other configurations include 12GB+512GB, 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB, with the top-tier model priced at CNY 2,999 (approximately $411). The Harry Potter Edition, with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, is priced at CNY 2,799 (around $384).

While currently launched in China, there are expectations that the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro may see a global release, potentially under the POCO F7 branding in markets like India.
