The Xiaomi Redmi Watch Move has officially launched in India, bringing a compelling mix of features to the budget smartwatch segment. This new wearable stands out with its vibrant 1.85-inch AMOLED display, a long-lasting battery, and a suite of health and fitness tracking capabilities, all at an affordable price point.

One of the highlights of the Redmi Watch Move is its display. The 1.85-inch rectangular AMOLED screen boasts a resolution of 390 x 450 pixels and a peak brightness of 600 nits. Xiaomi claims this is the brightest and smoothest display in its class, ensuring excellent visibility even in direct sunlight. The display also features a 60Hz refresh rate for smoother animations and supports an Always-On Display (AOD) mode.

Powering the Redmi Watch Move is a 300mAh battery, which, combined with Xiaomi's HyperOS, delivers an impressive battery life. Xiaomi claims up to 14 days of typical usage on a single charge. Even with the Always-On Display enabled, users can expect around 5 days of battery life.

The Redmi Watch Move is well-equipped for health and fitness tracking. It features a heart rate sensor with what Xiaomi touts as 97% accuracy, a SpO2 sensor for blood oxygen monitoring, a sleep tracker, a stress monitor, and menstrual cycle tracking for women. The watch also supports over 140 sports modes, with auto-detection for 7 of them, catering to a wide range of activities.

Beyond its core features, the Redmi Watch Move offers several convenient functionalities. It supports Bluetooth calling, allowing users to make and receive calls directly from the watch. It also includes smart features like music control, camera control, weather updates, find phone, flashlight and notification alerts.

The design of the Redmi Watch Move is both practical and stylish. It features a square dial with a functional crown for easy navigation. The watch is lightweight, weighing just 25 grams without the strap (39 grams with the TPU band), and has a slim profile of 10.8mm. It also boasts an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, making it suitable for everyday wear and workouts. The device will be available in four colors: Silver Sprint, Black Drift, Blue Blaze, and Gold Rush.

Priced at INR 1,999 (approximately $25 or €23), the Redmi Watch Move is an attractive option for budget-conscious consumers looking for a feature-rich smartwatch. It will be available for pre-order starting April 24th on mi.com and Flipkart, with general sales beginning on May 1st. The Redmi Watch Move also includes Hindi language support, catering specifically to the Indian market.
