Some posts even advised users to disable Gmail's "Smart Features" to avoid being part of the alleged AI training.
Google has refuted these claims, dismissing them as "misleading". According to Google spokesperson Jenny Thomson, the company has not changed anyone's settings, and Gmail's Smart Features, such as auto-suggest, email summaries, and calendar updates, have been in place for many years.
