Motorola has officially entered the Indian laptop market with the launch of its first-ever laptop, the Moto Book 60. The device was unveiled on April 17, 2025, and will be available for purchase starting April 23 on Flipkart, Motorola's official website, and select offline retailers. Alongside the laptop, the company also introduced the Moto Pad 60 Pro tablet, expanding its ecosystem offerings in India.

The Moto Book 60 aims to bring bold colors and premium design to the desk, targeting users who seek a blend of style and performance. It comes in two Pantone-curated colors: Bronze Green and Wedgewood. The laptop is powered by either an Intel Core 5 210H or an Intel Core 7 240H processor, offering configurations with 16GB or 32GB of DDR5 RAM and 512GB or 1TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. Notably, the laptop includes two additional PCIe storage slots for future expansion, as well as a microSD card slot.

The Moto Book 60 features a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 500 nits of brightness, and Dolby Vision support. The display is also TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light and flicker-free viewing. For audio, it boasts dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. A 1080p webcam with a privacy shutter and an IR camera for facial recognition via Windows Hello are also included.

The laptop runs on Windows 11 Home and comes pre-installed with Office 2024. It also supports Smart Connect features, allowing seamless integration with other devices, such as Android smartphones and tablets. The Smart Clipboard feature enables users to copy content on one device and paste it on another, while the Swipe to Share function simplifies transferring files, images, and links across the Moto Book 60, tablets, and smartphones.

Motorola claims that the Moto Book 60, equipped with a 60Whr battery, can deliver all-day battery life and supports fast charging via a USB-C port. The device also includes an always-on USB 3.2 port, which can be used to charge smartphones and accessories even when the laptop is idle. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, two USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone/microphone combo jack.

The Moto Book 60 is available in multiple configurations. The variant with the Intel Core 5 processor, 16GB RAM, and 512GB storage is priced at ₹69,999, but is being offered at a special launch price of ₹61,999. The Intel Core 7 variants are priced at ₹74,990 (16GB + 512GB) and ₹78,990 (16GB + 1TB), with discounted rates available during the launch period.

With the launch of the Moto Book 60, Motorola aims to strengthen its ecosystem play in India, delivering seamless interconnected experiences and building upon its legacy of design and innovation.
