Trump Mobile T1 Phone: Launch Postponed Once More; Where Is It and What's the Holdup?

The launch of the Trump Mobile T1 Phone has been postponed again, leaving customers and industry observers wondering about its fate. Originally slated for an August 2025 release, the launch was first pushed to September, then to October, and now faces an unspecified delay, with the company vaguely promising it will arrive "later this year". This repeated postponement raises concerns about the phone's viability and has led some to speculate whether it will ever materialize.

The T1 Phone, a gold-colored Android device, was announced in June 2025 alongside Trump Mobile's "$47 Plan," which offers unlimited talk, text, and data. The phone was marketed as a device "proudly designed and built in the United States," aiming to appeal to customers who value American-made products. Pre-orders were opened with a $100 deposit.

However, the initial promise of being "Made in USA" has been quietly dropped, with the company now claiming the phone has "American hands behind every device". This change followed scrutiny from industry experts who noted the phone's mock-up images and specs closely resembled the Wingtech REVVL 7 Pro 5G, manufactured by Chinese supplier Luxshare. The shift in messaging suggests potential challenges in establishing domestic manufacturing for the device.

Adding to the uncertainty, Trump Mobile has maintained silence on social media since late August. The company's last online activity was on August 27, just before the initial launch date. The lack of communication has fueled speculation and raised questions about the project's progress. The company has removed specific shipping dates from its website, further contributing to the ambiguity surrounding the T1 Phone's release. While the T1 Phone remains available for pre-order, Trump Mobile now offers refurbished Samsung and Apple phones on its website.

Despite the delays and lack of communication, some customer service agents have reportedly indicated a potential launch in late November or early December. However, with the end of the year approaching, the company faces increasing pressure to deliver on its promise. Whether the Trump Mobile T1 Phone will ultimately see the light of day remains uncertain, but the repeated delays and shifting claims have cast doubt on its prospects.
