Samsung has officially unveiled its newest addition to the Galaxy M series, the Galaxy M56 5G. The device arrives as the slimmest phone in its segment, sporting a sleek design, advanced features, and Samsung's commitment to long-term software support.

The Galaxy M56 5G boasts a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This screen offers vibrant visuals and smooth scrolling, enhanced further by a 1200 nits High Brightness Mode (HBM) and Vision Booster technology for excellent visibility even in bright sunlight. Bezels are also 36% slimmer than the previous M55 model. The phone is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both the front and back, ensuring durability.

Powering the Galaxy M56 5G is the Exynos 1480 processor, built on a 4nm process. This octa-core processor, with its AMD Xclipse 530 GPU, promises a smooth and efficient performance for multitasking and mobile gaming. To maintain optimal performance during intensive tasks, the phone features a vapor chamber cooling system, 33% bigger than its predecessor. It comes configured with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage, expandable via a microSD card.

In the camera department, the Galaxy M56 5G features a triple-camera setup. The primary camera is a 50MP sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and an f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, there's a 12MP front camera. The phone can record 4K videos at 30fps with 10-bit HDR support. The camera system also incorporates AI-powered editing tools such as object eraser, edit suggestions, and image clipper.

The Galaxy M56 5G comes with a 5000mAh battery and supports 45W Super Fast Charging. This combination allows for extended usage and quick recharge times.

One of the key highlights of the Galaxy M56 5G is Samsung's commitment to providing six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates. The phone launches with Android 15 and One UI 7, offering a streamlined and customizable user experience.

The phone measures just 7.2mm in thickness and weighs 180 grams. Other features include dual SIM slots, 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB Type-C port. It will be available in Light Green and Black color options.

The Samsung Galaxy M56 5G is available on Amazon.in, the Samsung India online store, and retail stores starting April 23rd. The 8GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs. 27,999, while the 8GB + 256GB model costs Rs. 30,999. Initial offers include a Rs 3,000 instant bank discount with HDFC credit and debit cards.
