The CMF Phone 2 Pro is generating considerable buzz as its official launch date of April 28, 2025, approaches. CMF by Nothing is gearing up to unveil the CMF Phone 2 Pro, along with the CMF Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Plus. The smartphone is expected to offer several upgrades over its predecessor, the CMF Phone 1.

Recent confirmations and leaks have revealed key specifications and features. The CMF Phone 2 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro SoC. In comparison, the CMF Phone 1 features the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor. The company claims that the new handset will provide a 10 percent faster CPU performance and a 5 percent improvement in graphics compared to last year's model. The chip also utilizes MediaTek's sixth-generation NPU, offering 4.8 TOPS of AI performance.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro is advertised to deliver 120fps for BGMI gaming, a 1,000Hz touch sampling rate, and a 53 percent network boost. It's also teased to have a thin and lightweight design.

Leaked specifications suggest the CMF Phone 2 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It may offer up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Powering the device could be a 5,000mAh battery with 50W fast charging support. It is expected to run on Android 15-based Nothing OS 3.1.

The rear design is expected to feature an oval-shaped module with dual camera sensors, potentially with a third sensor as well, indicating a possible triple-lens setup. The primary camera is expected to be a 50MP sensor. A front camera of 16MP is expected for selfies and video calls.

Nothing's co-founder and India President, Akis Evangelidis, has confirmed that the Indian retail box of the CMF Phone 2 Pro will include a charger, a first for CMF and even for Nothing.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro is expected to be available for purchase on Flipkart. While the exact price is still under wraps, speculations suggest it will be priced under Rs 22,000. For reference, the CMF Phone 1 launched at Rs 15,999 for the base variant.
