HP has officially released its high-performance gaming laptop, the Omen Max 16, in India. The laptop is aimed at gamers and power users looking for top-tier performance, advanced features, and stylish design. The Omen Max 16 is now available for purchase through HP's online store and on Amazon India.

The HP Omen Max 16 combines powerful hardware with AI-driven features to deliver an immersive and seamless gaming experience. Commenting on the launch, Vineet Gehani, Senior Director – Personal Systems, HP India, stated that the company aims to meet the evolving needs of gamers through advanced performance, AI-based optimization, and flexible customization.

Under the hood, the Omen Max 16 packs some serious power. It features up to a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU with 16GB of GDDR7 memory. This combination allows the laptop to handle demanding games and graphically intensive tasks with ease. It also comes with 32GB of DDR5 RAM, ensuring smooth multitasking and responsiveness. For storage, the Omen Max 16 offers up to a 1TB PCIe Gen 5 SSD, providing ample space for games, applications, and media files, while ensuring fast loading times.

To keep things cool during intense gaming sessions, HP has equipped the Omen Max 16 with its Omen Tempest Cooling Pro system. This advanced cooling solution features a dual-fan setup, heat pipes, and a vapor chamber that covers a large portion of the motherboard. HP also utilizes Omen Cryo Compound, a mix of liquid metal and thermal paste, to further enhance heat transfer. Additionally, the Fan Cleaner feature reverses airflow to prevent dust buildup and maintain optimal cooling performance. The laptop can reach a combined CPU and GPU power usage exceeding 250W (75W CPU + 175W GPU).

The Omen Max 16 boasts a 16-inch WQXGA (2,560x1,600 pixels) IPS LCD screen with a refresh rate ranging from 60Hz to 240Hz and up to 500 nits of peak brightness. The display also supports variable refresh rate (VRR) technology, reducing screen tearing and ensuring smooth gameplay. It has full sRGB coverage.

In terms of design, the Omen Max 16 features a metal chassis available in Shadow Black. It has an optional RGB light bar and a HyperX-inspired per-key RGB keyboard, both customizable through Omen Light Studio. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, an Ethernet port, and a combo audio jack. The laptop also features a 1080p IR camera with temporal noise reduction and dual array digital microphones. The Omen Max 16 runs on Windows 11 and includes Omen AI Beta, an AI-driven tool that optimizes gaming performance by automatically adjusting system settings.

The HP Omen Max 16 price in India starts at Rs. 3,09,999.
