This collaboration marks Anthropic's largest enterprise AI deployment to date, making Claude available to over 470,000 Deloitte employees across its global network. Deloitte will establish a Claude Center of Excellence, staffed with trained specialists, to develop implementation frameworks, share leading practices, and provide ongoing technical support. Furthermore, Deloitte and Anthropic are co-creating a formal certification program to train and certify 15,000 Deloitte professionals on Claude, equipping them with the skills and resources needed to support Claude implementations across Deloitte's network and internal AI transformation efforts.

The AI solutions developed through this partnership will include compliance features, enabling deployment in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, life sciences, and public services. These solutions will combine Claude's safety-first design with Deloitte's Trustworthy AI™ framework, aiming to increase transparency and reliability in model decision-making. This expanded alliance comes at a time when Deloitte is facing renewed questions about AI governance and human oversight. Recently, Deloitte had to repay part of a contract to the Australian Government after admitting that generative AI was used to help produce a report containing multiple errors. This incident highlights the importance of balancing AI innovation with integrity and ensuring that AI is used responsibly and ethically.

Deloitte has been actively integrating AI into its operations, including launching new AI capabilities for audit processes under its global cloud-based Audit & Assurance platform, Omnia. These capabilities include enhanced documentation review, improved navigation of financial statements, streamlined data extraction processes, advanced drafting capabilities, and proactive risk management. Deloitte is also investing in generative AI and agentic AI capabilities, building autonomous AI "co-workers" through its Zora AI™ platform and launching a Global Agentic Network.
