Cricket fans in Delhi NCR gearing up for the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season have a reason to cheer, as Uber India has announced a complimentary shuttle service to the Arun Jaitley Stadium for select match days. This initiative aims to improve the overall fan experience by providing a convenient and hassle-free transportation option, while also helping to reduce traffic congestion around the stadium.

The free Uber Shuttle service will be available on April 16, April 27, April 29 and May 11, allowing fans to attend the Delhi Capitals' home games against the Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders respectively, without the stress of navigating traffic or finding parking.

To take advantage of this offer, fans need to follow a few simple steps. First, open the Uber app and set the Arun Jaitley Stadium as either your pickup or drop-off location. Next, tap on the Shuttle icon and choose your preferred time. After confirming your shuttle, make sure to reserve your seat in advance. Most importantly, don't forget to bring your valid match ticket, as it will be required to board the shuttle.

Uber Shuttle Fan Buses will operate across key parts of Delhi, Noida, and Gurgaon, with five dedicated routes designed to serve areas where cricket lovers are most likely to travel from.

This initiative reflects Uber's commitment to supporting sports fans and ensuring they have an enjoyable and stress-free experience. By providing free shuttle rides, Uber aims to make it easier for fans to attend the matches and cheer on their favorite team, the Delhi Capitals. In addition to enhancing the fan experience, the free shuttle service is also expected to have a positive impact on traffic congestion around the Arun Jaitley Stadium on match days. By providing a convenient and reliable transportation option, Uber hopes to encourage fans to leave their cars at home and opt for the shuttle service instead.

Snehashish Nag, Head of Strategy, Uber Shuttle, stated that this initiative is a way of "moving smarter while also helping decongest roads on match days." He also highlighted the ease of booking, smooth rides, and effortless stadium drop-offs as key benefits of the service.

The free Uber Shuttle service to IPL matches in Delhi NCR is a welcome addition to the fan experience, offering a convenient and sustainable transportation option. With the IPL season in full swing, this initiative is sure to be a hit with cricket enthusiasts in the region, making it easier than ever to catch the live action at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
