Asus has recently unveiled its new ExpertBook P Series laptops, designed specifically for professionals and small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs). This series aims to deliver a balance of advanced technology, affordability, and enterprise-grade features, making it a compelling option for budget-conscious IT departments and demanding users alike. The ExpertBook P series includes three main models: the P1, P3, and P5, each catering to different needs and price points.

The ExpertBook P1 series is designed as a budget-friendly option that doesn't compromise on essential computing services. Available in 14-inch and 15.6-inch Full HD options, the P1 is powered by up to 13th Gen Intel Core i7 processors or up to AMD Ryzen 7 processors. It supports up to 64 GB of RAM and offers up to 1 TB of dual-SSD storage for enhanced data speed and reliability. Its compact design starts at a lightweight 1.4kg, making it ideal for professionals on the move. The P1 also boasts AI-enhanced productivity features like two-way noise cancellation, an AI-enhanced camera, and Copilot in Windows, easily accessible via a dedicated key. Security features include a built-in fingerprint sensor, a TPM 2.0 chip, and enterprise-grade protection, ensuring data privacy and business security. The P1 also comes with a one-year subscription to McAfee+ Premium.

The ExpertBook P3 series aims to blend portability and performance for hybrid professionals and SMBs. Available in 14-inch sizes starting at 1.36 kg, the P3 is equipped with up to an Intel Core i7-13620H processor, 64 GB of DDR5 memory, and dual PCIe 4.0 SSDs for smooth multitasking. It features a full aluminum chassis and a 14-inch Full HD screen with a maximum brightness of 400 nits. The P3 includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports, one HDMI 2.1 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an RJ-45 ethernet port. Additional features include a backlit chiclet keyboard with spill resistance, a fingerprint scanner, and an IR camera with Windows Hello support.

The ExpertBook P5 series stands as the most powerful and feature-rich model in the lineup. The P5 is powered by up to Intel Core Ultra 7 (Series 2) processors with three built-in AI engines and features up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM. It includes dual NVMe Gen 4 SSDs up to 1TB and an integrated Intel ARC GPU. The P5 features a 14-inch display with up to 2560 x 1600 resolution, a 63Wh battery, and Dolby Atmos audio technology. The laptop is also Microsoft Copilot+ PC certified. Connectivity options include two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one HDMI 2.1 port, and one 3.5mm headphone jack.

Across the series, Asus has integrated AI-driven tools to enhance remote collaboration, including AI-powered noise cancellation, AI camera features, and the Asus AI ExpertMeet platform, which offers real-time meeting transcription, translated subtitles, and watermarking features for secure content sharing.

The ExpertBook P series is also built for durability, meeting MIL-STD-810H military standards with features like a reinforced metal chassis, hinge tests for 50,000 cycles, and top lid pressure tests capable of withstanding up to 30 kg. The laptops also feature TPM 2.0 hardware-based encryption, self-healing BIOS, and Microsoft device encryption.

The Asus ExpertBook P series is set to be available on Flipkart starting April 21, 2025, with prices starting at Rs 39,990 for the P1, Rs 64,990 for the P3, and Rs 94,990 for the P5.
