The Infinix GT 30 5G+ has officially launched in India, aiming to provide an enhanced mobile gaming experience at an affordable price. The device features integrated GT Shoulder Triggers, a high refresh rate display, powerful processor, and advanced cooling system.

Design and Display:

The Infinix GT 30 5G+ features a "Cyber Mecha Design 2.0" with a rear white LED lighting setup that can be customized for various scenarios like charging, music playback, and notifications. The device boasts a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 2,160Hz touch sampling rate and up to 4,500 nits peak brightness. The display also has HDR support, TÜV Rheinland Eye Care Certification, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The phone also has an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. It is available in Cyber Green, Pulse Blue, and Blade White color options.

Gaming Features:

The GT Shoulder Triggers are a key highlight, offering customizable functions for gaming and other uses. These triggers can be mapped to in-game actions like shooting or aiming, or assigned to everyday functions like opening apps or controlling media. The device supports up to 90fps gameplay in BGMI, certified by Krafton. The Infinix GT 30 5G+ also includes XBoost AI enhancements like Magic Voice Changer, Zone Touch Master, and a dedicated Esports mode. A 6-layer 3D vapor chamber cooling system is integrated to maintain optimal performance during intense gaming sessions.

Performance and Software:

Under the hood, the Infinix GT 30 5G+ is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The device runs on XOS 15 based on Android 15, with a promise of two major OS updates and three years of security patches.

Camera and Battery:

The Infinix GT 30 5G+ features a 64MP primary rear camera with a Sony IMX682 sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. A 13MP front camera is included for selfies and video calls. Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording. The device houses a 5,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging, 10W reverse wired charging, and bypass charging support.

Connectivity and Other Features:

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. It also features an in-display fingerprint sensor and UltraLink connectivity for added security. Additional AI features include Folax AI Voice Assistant, AI Note, AI Gallery, and AI Writing Assistant, along with support for Google's Circle to Search.

Pricing and Availability:

The Infinix GT 30 5G+ is priced at Rs. 19,499 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant and Rs. 20,999 for the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage variant. It will be available for purchase starting August 14 via Flipkart and other offline retail stores. A special launch offer discounts the phone to Rs 17,999 for a limited time.

The Infinix GT 30 5G+ enters a competitive market against devices like the iQOO Z10R, Oppo K13, and Realme P3. It also faces competition from the Nothing Phone (3a), which offers a unique design and longer software support.
