Samsung is making significant strides in the realm of immersive audio with its 2025 soundbar lineup. The tech giant has launched its newest soundbars, which include the flagship HW-Q990F and the convertible HW-QS700F models. These models are packed with features, including AI sound optimisation and innovative gyro sensor technology. The new soundbars are designed to transform everyday entertainment into immersive experiences.

AI Sound Optimisation

Samsung's 2025 soundbars are powered by an upgraded AI Sound Engine. This engine analyses audio in real-time and automatically adjusts the output based on the content being played. By analysing the genre, content type, and environment, the AI Sound Engine aims to deliver more precise dialogue, dynamic action soundscapes, and deeper engagement with every scene. The AI sound optimisation feature ensures real-time audio tuning tailored to the content. Viplesh Dang, Senior Director and Head of Visual Display Business at Samsung India, stated that the new soundbar range combines AI-powered personalization with a sleek design to address the growing demand for adaptive and seamlessly integrated audio solutions.

The AI Sound Engine processes audio live and adjusts the output based on various factors. This results in a harmonious, rich low-end and clear dialogue. The soundbars also feature Dynamic Bass Control, which enhances low-frequency output using non-linear bass management for clarity without distortion. Furthermore, the Active Voice Amplifier Pro sharpens dialogue by analysing ambient sound and isolating voices.

Gyro Sensor Technology and Convertible Fit Design

A standout feature of Samsung's 2025 soundbars is the Convertible Fit Design with an integrated Gyro Sensor. This innovative design allows the soundbar to adapt its sound profile depending on whether it is wall-mounted or placed on a tabletop. The gyro sensor detects the orientation of the soundbar and adjusts the acoustics accordingly. This ensures optimal clarity and immersive sound in any configuration.

The Convertible Fit Design is matched by a minimalist form factor, making it a perfect fit for modern interiors. The soundbars also come with a 6.5-inch wireless subwoofer. The new compact wireless subwoofer is an impressive 58% smaller than previous versions, delivering room-filling bass without demanding a huge footprint.

Additional Features and Connectivity

The 2025 soundbar range integrates into the Samsung ecosystem through Q-Symphony Pro. This feature pairs the soundbar's channels with the speakers of compatible Samsung TVs to create a more immersive, AI-synchronized surround sound experience. All models support Wireless Dolby Atmos with 3D sound. This provides consumers with an immersive audio experience without needing cables.

In terms of connectivity, the new soundbars offer SmartThings, Alexa, Google Assistant, Chromecast, AirPlay, and Roon Ready compatibility. These features ensure effortless control and high-resolution playback, no matter how the user streams their content. The soundbars also support multiple connectivity options, such as HDMI eARC, USB, and optical ports.

Models and Pricing

The new lineup includes the flagship HW-Q990F and the convertible HW-QS700F models. The Samsung Q Series soundbars start at ₹14,990 and go up to ₹92,990 for the flagship HW-Q990F model. The models are available at Samsung's website, leading offline retailers, and major e-commerce platforms.

The Future of Soundbars

Samsung's 2025 soundbars reflect the future of audio technology. Next-generation soundbars are designed to produce sound quality that rivals home theatre systems. These soundbars come with features like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, which add a new dimension to audio and enhance movies, music, and gaming by producing a three-dimensional sound experience. The integration of voice assistants like Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa allows users to operate other smart devices with voice commands. Wireless connectivity, multi-room audio capabilities, and personalized audio settings further enhance the user experience.
