The device boasts a compelling combination of features, including an Exynos 1380 processor, a high-refresh-rate display, a versatile camera system, and a premium design.

Performance and Software

At the heart of the Galaxy F36 5G is the Exynos 1380 chipset, a 5nm processor known for its balance of power and efficiency. This octa-core processor, featuring a quad-core A78 cluster at 2.4GHz and a quad-core A55 cluster at 2GHz, coupled with a Mali-G68 MP5 GPU, aims to deliver a smooth and responsive experience for everyday tasks, gaming, and multimedia consumption. To ensure sustained performance during intensive tasks, the phone incorporates a large vapor cooling chamber for efficient heat dissipation. The phone comes with 6GB or 8GB of RAM. It also has 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card.

The Galaxy F36 5G runs on Android 15 with Samsung's One UI 7 on top, offering a user-friendly interface and a suite of software enhancements. Samsung is also promising segment-leading software support, with six generations of Android upgrades and six years of security updates. The device also integrates AI features like Circle to Search with Google and Gemini Live for real-time visual conversations. Additional features include Voice Focus to reduce ambient noise during calls and Quick Share for fast file sharing. Samsung Knox Vault is also present for enhanced security.

Display and Design

The Galaxy F36 5G sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+. The phone has a slim profile of 7.7mm and weighs 197g. It is available in three colors: Luxe Violet, Coral Red, and Onyx Black.

Camera Capabilities

The Galaxy F36 5G features a triple-camera setup on the rear, headlined by a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Accompanying the main camera is an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, the device features a 13MP front-facing camera. The cameras can record 4K videos. The phone also features AI-powered tools such as Object Eraser, Image Clipper, and Edit Suggestions. The camera also has Auto Night Mode.

Battery and Connectivity

The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery, supporting 25W fast charging. Connectivity options include SA/NSA Sub-6 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi AC, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, GLONASS, a hybrid dual Nano-SIM card slot, and a microSD slot. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
