The Nothing Phone (3) has officially launched in India, marking a significant step for the company as it unveils its first true flagship smartphone after two years in the market. With upgraded performance, a redesigned aesthetic, and enhanced features, the Phone (3) aims to compete in the ultra-premium segment.

One of the most noticeable changes is the redesigned rear panel. While retaining the signature transparent design, the Phone (3) introduces a new "Glyph Matrix," composed of 489 individually firing micro-LEDs, replacing the traditional Glyph Interface. This Glyph Matrix can display app alerts, contact notifications, real-time progress indicators, and even be used for simple games, aiming to reduce user screen time. A dedicated "Glyph Button," a capacitive circle beneath the Glyph Matrix, allows users to scroll through different modes and features.

The device features a 6.67-inch flexible AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4500 nits. The display also boasts ultra-slim bezels, measuring just 1.87mm on all sides.

Under the hood, the Nothing Phone (3) is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, fabricated using TSMC's 4nm process. This chipset includes an 8-core CPU with speeds up to 3.21GHz and a Qualcomm Adreno 825 GPU. The phone comes in two configurations: 12GB of RAM with 256GB of storage and 16GB of RAM with 512GB of storage.

The Nothing Phone (3) boasts an upgraded triple camera setup, featuring a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. The front-facing camera is also 50MP. All cameras are capable of shooting at 4K at 60fps.

Powering the device is a 5500mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 65W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging. The phone runs on Android 15 with Nothing OS 3.5. Nothing OS 4.0, based on Android 16, is expected to roll out in Q3 2025. The company promises up to 5 years of major OS updates and 7 years of security updates.

The Nothing Phone (3) is available in Black and White. The 12GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 79,999, while the 16GB RAM variant costs Rs 89,999. As a launch offer, customers using certain bank cards can avail of a flat Rs 5,000 discount, and with bank discounts and exchange bonuses, the phone can be purchased for as low as Rs 62,999. Pre-orders are currently open, and those who pre-order will receive a free pair of Nothing Ear earbuds.

The Nothing Phone (3) also introduces new software features, including Essential Space and Essential Search. The phone has an upgraded IP68 ingress protection, a first for Nothing phones.
