Sony India has launched the BRAVIA Theatre System 6 and the BRAVIA Theatre Bar 6, two new soundbars designed to provide an immersive home cinema experience. These soundbars are tailored for the modern Indian living room, incorporating advanced audio technologies and smart features.

The BRAVIA Theatre System 6 is a 5.1 channel wireless surround system with a 1000W output. It includes wireless rear speakers and a dedicated subwoofer to deliver rich, balanced sound with depth and clarity, making it suitable for home theatre setups. The Multi Stereo Mode replicates stereo audio to the center and rear speakers for a multi-directional sound effect. This system is designed to minimize wires and save space. It will be available from July 3, 2025, priced at ₹49,990.

The BRAVIA Theatre Bar 6 is a 3.1.2 channel soundbar that features two upfiring speakers and a wireless subwoofer. This configuration delivers vertical surround sound and clear dialogue with detailed overhead audio effects, ideal for immersive movie-watching and gaming. The upfiring speakers project sound upwards to create overhead soundscapes. It will be available starting July 1, 2025, at a price of ₹39,990.

Both systems support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X audio formats. Sony's Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force PRO Front Surround technology create virtual surround sound effects, simulating sound around and above the listener without needing additional rear or overhead speakers. The subwoofers in both systems are designed to deliver impactful bass, with the System 6 using a high-performance driver and passive radiator.

These soundbars are designed keeping in mind the preferences of Indian consumers. They are fine-tuned to deliver punchy bass and immersive surround sound, enhancing the audio experience for movies, music, and OTT streaming. The inclusion of Voice Zoom 3, Night Mode, and Voice Mode further customizes the listening experience. Voice Zoom 3 uses AI to isolate and amplify dialogue, while Night Mode softens loud sound effects and enhances subtle sounds, and Voice Mode amplifies vocal frequencies for clearer speech.

The BRAVIA Connect app allows users to control volume and settings via smartphone and offers unified control of BRAVIA TVs and Theatre soundbars from one app. Soundbar settings also appear in the BRAVIA TV Quick Settings menu, enabling adjustments using the TV remote.

The new BRAVIA Theatre System 6 and Bar 6 will be available across Sony Centers, major electronics retailers, ShopatSC.com, and popular e-commerce platforms.
