HCLTech and Salesforce are deepening their collaboration to accelerate the implementation and adoption of agentic AI across various businesses. HCLTech is launching new orchestration consultation and implementation services designed to expedite enterprises' adoption of Salesforce Agentforce. This initiative aims to transform businesses into AI-augmented enterprises, particularly in sectors like financial services, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing.
This expanded partnership builds upon HCLTech's selection earlier in 2025 to join Salesforce's Agentforce Partner Network. As an Agentforce partner, HCLTech leverages its expertise in Salesforce digital modernization to assist clients in deploying AI-driven agents that enhance user experiences. The collaboration is expected to revolutionize autonomous and AI-enabled virtual agents, enabling businesses to upgrade their SaaS applications with advanced multimodal AI technology and move beyond basic chatbots to more sophisticated AI solutions capable of managing complex, multi-channel interactions.
HCLTech's new orchestration services focus on setting up enterprise-grade agentic workflows. These workflows are designed to automate and coordinate tasks across various departments, including marketing, sales, customer service, and operations. By unifying task orchestration, reasoning, and action execution across systems, these workflows aim to streamline core functions, especially in highly regulated environments.
To enable smoother implementation, HCLTech is utilizing Agent-to-Agent (A2A) and Model Context Protocol (MCP). These protocols help organizations manage task coordination, execution, and visibility across systems, leading to faster and more reliable outcomes. A2A and MCP facilitate intelligent, interconnected AI agents working in tandem.
One key project under this collaboration involves PenFed Credit Union, the second-largest federal credit union in the US. HCLTech and Salesforce are working together to enhance PenFed's member engagement and operational efficiency through AI-driven solutions. This project exemplifies how the partnership aims to drive tangible improvements in customer service and operational processes.
Sadagopan Singam, Executive Vice President, Global Head of SaaS and Commercial Application, Digital Business Services, HCLTech, stated that Salesforce Agentforce represents a transformational shift in how enterprise value is created. He emphasized that HCLTech is not just enabling agent deployment but scaling business outcomes through intelligent, governed, and connected agent ecosystems.
Phil Samenuk, SVP of Global Alliances & Channels and Outsourcing Service Providers, Salesforce, noted that organizations need a new labor model that unlocks the full potential of humans with AI at work. He views HCLTech as a critical partner in identifying and developing specific use cases with their joint customers across industries.
This expanded Salesforce collaboration is part of a broader tech push by HCLTech. Recently, the company signed a deal with AMD to work on AI, digital, and cloud-based solutions. They will also establish joint development centers to run proof-of-concept projects and test tools before rollout. Additionally, HCLTech entered a long-term agreement with E.ON, a German energy firm, to develop a private cloud and manage E.ON's cloud and network infrastructure across global hyperscalers using its AI and automation tools. HCLTech also secured an engineering services contract with Volvo Group. These partnerships demonstrate HCLTech's commitment to expanding its presence in AI, cloud, and enterprise automation services.
