The Motorola Edge 60 is slated to launch in India on June 10th, adding a new contender to the competitive mid-range smartphone market. Following the release of the Edge 60 Pro, Motorola is aiming to capture a broader audience with this latest offering. The Edge 60 will be available for purchase on Flipkart, Motorola's official website, and through select retail stores.

While the global version of the Motorola Edge 60 features the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, the Indian variant will come with the slightly upgraded MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor. This change promises enhanced performance, especially in multitasking and demanding applications. Accompanying the processor is a single configuration of 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The Indian version of the Motorola Edge 60 also gets a battery upgrade, featuring a 5,500mAh battery compared to the 5,200mAh battery found in the global model. It will support 68W TurboPower charging.

The Motorola Edge 60 boasts a 6.67-inch 1.5K quad-curved pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display also features HDR10+ support and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

For photography, the Motorola Edge 60 features a triple-camera setup on the rear. This includes a 50MP primary camera with a Sony LYTIA 700C sensor and OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. A 50MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.

The device will launch with Android 15, running Motorola's Hello UI. Motorola is promising 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security patches. The phone also has an IP68 + IP69 rating, offering high levels of dust and water resistance. It also meets MIL-STD-810H standards for durability. Other features include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

The Motorola Edge 60 will be available in two color options: Pantone Gibraltar Sea and Pantone Shamrock. While the official pricing for India is still under wraps, the European price was around GBP 379 (approximately Rs. 43,000).
