The OnePlus 13s has officially launched in India on June 5, 2025, positioning itself as a compact flagship device within the OnePlus lineup. It aims to deliver a premium experience in a smaller form factor, slotting in between the OnePlus 13R and the flagship OnePlus 13 in terms of both price and specifications.
Specifications and Features
The OnePlus 13s is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a 3nm chipset also found in other high-end smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and Xiaomi 15. This promises superior performance and efficiency. To manage thermals, the phone incorporates a 4,400mm² vapor chamber (VC) Cryo-Velocity cooling system and a unique cooling layer on the back for optimal heat dissipation.
The device features a 6.32-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1600 nits. The display is protected by Crystal Shield Glass. The phone comes with at least 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and offers storage options up to 512GB UFS 4.0. It runs on OxygenOS 15, based on Android 15.
One notable design change is the replacement of the traditional alert slider with a customizable "Plus Key," similar to the Action Button on iPhones. This key can be programmed to perform various functions, including switching sound modes, launching the camera, or activating AI features. The phone also includes an optical fingerprint sensor.
The OnePlus 13s boasts a substantial 5,850mAh battery, supporting 80W wired charging. Some sources mention potential 18W wireless charging as well.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a USB Type-C port, NFC, and it supports 5G networks. It also has Gemini integration, providing AI Voice Scribe and AI Search features.
Camera
The OnePlus 13s features a dual-camera setup on the rear, comprising a 50MP primary camera (Sony IMX906 with OIS) and a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. The front-facing camera is a 32MP shooter with autofocus, an upgrade from the 16MP camera found on the Chinese OnePlus 13T variant. AI features like AI Detail Boost and AI Unblur are also included.
Design
The phone has curved 2.5D front and rear panels and is designed for comfortable one-handed use. It measures 8mm in thickness and weighs 185g. The rear camera module features a rectangular design, a departure from the circular modules seen on the OnePlus 13 and 13R. The OnePlus 13s is available in three colorways: Black Velvet, Pink Satin, and Green Silk.
Pricing and Availability
In India, the OnePlus 13s is priced at Rs 54,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant and Rs 59,999 for the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant. The 256GB model is available for pre-order starting June 5, while the 512GB variant will go on sale from June 12 onwards. The phone is available for purchase through Amazon, the OnePlus India e-store, and select offline retail outlets.
OnePlus has also announced new accessories, including the Sandstone Magnetic Case (Rs 799), the Hole Pattern Magnetic Case (Rs 699), and the 27W Freezing Point Magnetic Phone Cooler (Rs 2,499).
Competition
The OnePlus 13s will compete with devices such as the Apple iPhone 16e, Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, and Google Pixel 9a.
