Samsung has expanded its Odyssey gaming monitor lineup in India with the launch of three new models: the Odyssey 3D (G90XF), the Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF), and the Odyssey G9 (G91F). These monitors bring innovative features and high-performance capabilities to cater to gamers and content creators. The new Odyssey monitors are available for purchase on Samsung India's website, leading online retailers, and offline stores across the country. As a launch benefit, Samsung is offering discounts of up to ₹10,000 for a limited time.

Odyssey 3D: A Glasses-Free 3D Experience

The Odyssey 3D (G90XF) stands out as the first glasses-free 3D gaming monitor in India. It features a 27-inch 4K (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) display with a 165Hz refresh rate and a 1ms gray-to-gray (GTG) response time. The monitor leverages advanced eye-tracking technology and view mapping algorithms to create immersive 3D visuals without the need for dedicated glasses. The eye-tracking technology uses an in-built stereo camera to monitor the user's eye movement, while the view mapping feature adjusts the image to enhance depth perception. The monitor also boasts an AI-powered video conversion feature that adds depth to 2D videos, further expanding its 3D capabilities. Users can switch between 2D and 3D content based on their preference.

The Odyssey 3D comes with a Reality Hub app that automatically detects content and gives users the option to play it in 3D. It also has AMD FreeSync Premium technology support, spatial audio using in-built stereo speakers, and DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.1 ports for connectivity. Samsung has also partnered with Nexon to optimize its new 3D technology for the game The First Berserker: Khazan. The Odyssey 3D (G90XF) is priced at ₹1,27,299.

Odyssey OLED G8: High Refresh Rate and Color Accuracy

The Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF) is available in 27-inch and 32-inch sizes, both featuring a 4K (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. These monitors are the world's first 4K OLED monitors with a 240Hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms response time. The OLED panel, enhanced with Quantum Dot technology, delivers sharp details, vivid colors, deep contrasts, and wide viewing angles. The monitors are VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 certified, ensuring vibrant visuals with a near-infinite contrast ratio for deeper blacks and more vivid color reproduction. They also have a glare-free coating that reduces screen reflections by 56%.

To prevent burn-in, the Odyssey OLED G8 features Samsung OLED Safeguard+ technology with a Dynamic Cooling System and Pulsating Heat Pipe, dissipating heat five times better than graphite sheets without dimming brightness. The monitors support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible for smooth, tear-free gaming. The 27-inch model of the Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF) is priced at ₹91,299, while the 32-inch model is priced at ₹1,18,999.

Odyssey G9: Ultrawide Immersion

The Odyssey G9 (G91F) is a 49-inch ultrawide curved gaming monitor with a Dual QHD (5,120 x 1,440 pixels) resolution and a 1000R curvature. The monitor has a 144Hz refresh rate, VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification, and 350 nits peak brightness. It also has AMD FreeSync Premium and HDR10+ support.

The Odyssey G9 offers an expansive ultra-wide view for gamers and multitaskers alike. It features Picture-by-Picture and Picture-in-Picture modes, allowing simultaneous viewing of multiple sources.
